WELCOME TO
Sonoma Valley

Wineries

Sonoma Valley is a quaint and pastoral region located to the west of Napa Valley. The two valleys are separated by the Mayacamas Mountain range to the east and the Sonoma Mountains to the west. Sonoma Valley is approximately 17 miles long, beginning at the town of Sonoma and concluding in the city of Santa Rosa. There are about 100 wineries located here, with approximately two-thirds allowing visitors. It also includes the towns of Glen Ellen and Kenwood. Being further west in California means more influence from the Pacific Ocean. It has a milder climate and more rain, which generally translates to lighter wines in comparison to Napa Valley.
